How do I apply to a top British boarding school to start in year 9 at age 13?
There are many British boarding school consultants located all over the world – it can be hard for parents to choose the right one. Here’s how we approach our boarding schools advice.
Why choose us?
Personal, independent & focused on your child
Not all education consultants are the same. We’re proud to be independent and are not motivated by commercial relationships with schools. We’re passionate about putting your child at the centre of our advice, creating an all-round picture of the many factors which come together to make the perfect school for them.
Effective, targeted, relevant school research
Every boarding school search is driven by your child’s academic ability, passions and interests, as well as logistical factors. Your consultant has years of experience, building their knowledge by talking to schools and parents. Sharing this knowledge will steer you quickly and without confusion to the right shortlist of schools for you and your family.
Choosing a boarding school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your family
Choosing a boarding school education for your child is a big decision. Sometimes one or both parents are new to the idea of boarding. Investing in our expert advice gives you the confidence you’re making the right decision, for all the right reasons.
Steering on aspects of the boarding school application that cause worry
This can be anything from finding last-minute places, planning an open day or private visits, handling registration, entry tests, interviews, and juggling offer acceptances. If you choose us as your education consultant, we’ll be with you every step.
Our boarding school advice services
Step 1
A member of our senior expert team will ask about your family and more details about what you are looking for. The more you can tell us at this stage, the quicker we can help you. They will then recommend the best boarding school consultants package for you, explain the outcomes the service will achieve, as well as explaining the associated fees.
Step 2
You'll then be introduced to your consultant. We match clients carefully with the right member of our knowledgeable team, once we have spent time getting to know you and your family. Your consultant will make contact to arrange a 30-minute complimentary ‘get to know you’ video call. This is so you can ask questions about their expertise and approach to advice, before deciding to proceed.
Step 3
Following your ‘get-to-know your consultant’ call, we’ll ask you to let us know if you’ve decided to proceed. If going ahead, you’ll be asked to settle an invoice to cover our service fees, ahead of any work starting. Depending on the service, this could be all fees due, or an initial deposit payment for part of a package.
Step 4
Consultancy work begins. We’ll guide and support you on your journey towards the right boarding school outcome for your child and family. We’ll also be on hand to help if you need further guidance. Many families continue to work with us throughout their child’s school career.
